A blank Slate

A Blank Slate

Each year as the 31st December dawns, we all try to reflect on the year gone by and hope that the coming year brings in good tidings for all.

For a change , I want to begin 2022 with a new blank slate. No expectations and no apprehensions .
For the past year, life has taken totally unexpected turns for everyone. Some turns have been pleasant some turns have been ugly. We still don't know what is in store for the whole world.
When we thought things are becoming normal, a new challenge comes up throwing all plans into disarray.

So let us welcome 2022 . Let us pray that we are all able to overcome the challenges that the virus and the related props poses us. We have survived the worst crisis, overcome the limitations of being cooped in the house and the adjusted the new normal of masking up and sanitising and maintaining social distances.

We have discovered new ways to communicate . Distances may be physical but we are all close to each other, just a click away. Things have moved on and people have moved on
If 2020 was a challenge  , 2021 was like our attempt at rising above like a Phoenix bird and 2022 would see all the humans rise to the challenge .

Whatever 2022 has in store for me, I am going to accept it with open arms. I know it will have its dark moments, paths will be trodden with thorns and dark clouds may linger over our lives. But at the end of it , it will be a sweet music,  a delightful book to read and an enriching experience to cherish

A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL
